Cayla O’Connell Davis is the Founder and CEO of Knickey. As an SFC Accredited Green Professional, Cayla champions sustainable practices within the fashion supply chain. Most recently the Senior Brand Manager for Under the Canopy and Portico at Earthbound Brands, Cayla launched and maintained the development of earth-friendly consumer products for large retailers such as Bloomingdales, Macy's and Bed Bath & Beyond. After completing her Masters in Fashion Studies at Parsons The New School for Design, she went on to become an Adjunct in the Strategic Design and Management Program, while working as an Engagement Fellow at CDP [North America], combating climate change by aggregating the environmental data of the world's largest consumer businesses. She is a graduate of Boston University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Advertising and Creative Direction, cum laude. In her spare time, she enjoys singing [formerly with the internationally-acclaimed group, Fermata Town], cooking gluten free food for her understanding friends, and traveling the world as much as possible. Cayla currently lives in Manhattan's West Chelsea neighborhood with her incredible husband, a coterie of cookbooks, and a fabulous dress collection.
