Mint Julep - Retail Manager 

After working for several years as the assistant Manager of Mint Julep's Brookline location, Cayla moved to New York City to manage its Lower East Side shop and went on to establish its West Village location in August of 2013.  She attended trade and buying shows to select new merchandise for multiple locations seasonally to achieve a wholly branded experience across all stores, managed order tracking and return authorizations daily.  Cayla contributed both copy and visual content to e-commerce and social media sites regularly, having created the company blog in 2011.  She served as a lead liaison to press contacts to acquire print coverage and promote events, and collaborated with outside organizations to create sales parties for focused consumer groups.  Cayla merchandised clothing and accessories on a daily basis, and provided excellent customer service to cultivate lasting consumer engagement and loyalty.  As a manager, she oversaw payroll biweekly and cash sales at the end of each business day.  As a lauded style influencer, Cayla and fellow colleagues received numerous awards from Boston and New York City publications, magazines and blogs; resultantly attending multiple functions, fashion shows and press parties seasonally.  As an experienced buyer and performer, she has even appeared on television to represent the Mint Julep store and brand in TLC's What Not to Wear and WeTV's 2013 reality series, House of Curves.
